DODGERS FAN GETS TACKLED BY SECURITY ON OPENING DAY WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PROPOSE ON FIELD

A Los Angeles Dodgers fan hoped for a happily ever after following his marriage proposal, but he got something a little more memorable instead.

A spectator wearing a Mookie Betts jersey sprinted onto the field between innings of the Dodgers' Opening Day game on Thursday against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Los Angeles. The fan dropped to one knee in the middle of the outfield at Dodgers Stadium and flashed a ring toward his lucky lady in the crowd.

The picture perfect moment was abruptly interrupted and the start of the MLB season quickly transformed into the NFL. A security guard viciously tackled the trespasser and knocked him down to the ground, an incident that has been widely shared on Twitter.
