RHEA WEIGHED IN ON THE OUTCOME OF RAW’S WWE WOMEN’S WORLD TITLE BATTLE ROYAL

WWE was forced to call an audible when Rhea Ripley emerged from the Raw After WrestleMania with a serious injury. They had Ripley vacate the Women’s World title she’d held for the past year, and main event-ed the April 22 Raw with a battle royal to determine her successor.

That move already irritated a lot of people hoping for a tournament, or any other method that would have led to more and/or better in-ring action. There’s been even more frustration expressed — at least among internet fans — since Triple H & team opted for the safest choice to follow Rhea’s reign, strapping Becky Lynch for the seventh time rather than going with Liv Morgan or anyone else who isn’t already one of pro wrestling’s biggest stars.

While that debate continues, we’re here to talk about Mami’s reaction to last night’s outcome.

Ripley obviously wasn’t Team Liv after Morgan inflicted further damage on her injured arm the week before on Raw as part of her “Revenge Tour”. Rhea got in a quick shot about Liv’s perennial also-ran status before making it clear how not worried she is about her WrestleMania XL challenger keeping the belt warm for her while she recovers from injury...

Spicy.

Personally, I’m pretty excited to watch things play out* between Liv and The Man before one or both run into a returning Nightmare a few months down the line. Ripley remotely expressing her disdain for both only adds to that excitement.

Let us know what you think — about Rhea’s jab or about the situation in general — in the comments below.

* I may not completely be drinking the “Triple H Era” Kool-Aid, but I am willing to give the current creative team the benefit of the doubt and trust they have some storyline ideas to build off last night’s finish. Or maybe that’s just the Becky Lynch superfan in me talking.
