JAYSON TATUM SUMS UP CELTICS LOSS TO HEAT WITH BLUNT REMARK

On Wednesday night, Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics suffered a Game 2 loss at the hands of the Miami Heat in the NBA Playoffs. The series was evened up at one game apiece with Game 3 in Miami.

Despite the loss, Jayson Tatum had a solid game, scoring 28 points on 10/20 shooting. He also recorded eight rebounds and three assists. Jaylen Brown added 33 points of his own, but it was not enough.

The Heat were red hot from three, hitting over 50% of their 43 attempts. They set a franchise record for most threes in a single Playoff game with 23.

Following the game, Jayson Tatum sat down with the media and gave a blunt response regarding the loss.

"We knew it wasn't gonna be easy," Tatum said, "Especially with that team, it's never gonna go how you expect it."

Celtics reporter Bobby Manning posted the entire quote to social media.

Game 3 of the Celtics-Heat series will take place on Saturday, April 27th, at 6:00 PM EST.
