CHIEFS WILL VISIT WITH ONE OF THE BEST RECEIVERS IN THE DRAFT

The Chiefs should be busy during the draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs have shown some interest in one of the best receivers in the draft, a position they deeply need.

We know based on the way free agency went, that the Chiefs may go after a receiver in the draft. It is their biggest need as things currently stand, especially with the recent departure of JuJu Smith-Schuster to the New England Patriots.

Their receiver room right now is Kadarius Toney, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and of course a few guys that are expected to be on the practice squad.

The Chiefs have a visit scheduled with TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnston, per Aaron Wilson. In other words, they have shown a bit of interest in one of the best receivers in the draft, if not the best.

According to Pro Football Focus, Johnson is the highest-rated receiver in the class, as he is ranked ninth overall. The next highest is Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is the 11th-best prospect in the draft.

He finished his last season with over 1,000 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 60 catches.

If Johnson is ninth, that would suggest the Chiefs may be interested in trading up to grab him. That isn't a report or anything set in stone, but just a thought.

If they get one of the best receivers in what isn't a very deep class at the position, that could help fix their problem big time.
