The field for the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship tournament is set. 16 teams will battle for a chance to reach the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Boston College earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament as a result of their impressive season and winning the Hockey East Championship. The other No. 1 seeds are Boston University, University of Denver, and Michigan State.
The DI men's ice hockey championship tournament begins on Thursday, March 28, with regional play wrapping up on March 31. The tournament features a single-elimination format, which will narrow the field down to the regional winners, who will advance to the Men's Frozen Four.
