DEION SANDERS, COLORADO LAND TOP TRANSFER FROM BIG TEN

Former Indiana offensive lineman Kahlil Benson announced his commitment to Colorado on Saturday night. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive lineman announced his decision via social media during his visit.

Benson saw action in all 12 games and only allowed one sack over 774 snaps this season. As a sophomore, Benson saw action in 12 games with five starts for the Hoosiers. He missed the 2020 season after suffering an ACL injury during fall camp.

Benson signed with Indiana as a three-star prospect out of Southaven, Mississippi in the class of 2020. He was the No. 46 offensive guard and No. 23 player in Mississippi, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Building an offensive line is a massive priority for head coach Deion Sanders this offseason as the Buffaloes allowed 56 sacks in only 12 games this season. The Buffaloes also struggled to run the ball, averaging only 68 yards per game this season.
