Terrell Timmons Jr. didn't need to take extra time in the transfer portal. The NC State wide receiver announced he would be transferring to Colorado on Saturday.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder was part of a large visitor group this weekend that was mostly offensive lineman. Timmons comes to Boulder after growing up in Greensboro, North Carolina and heading east to Raleigh. He played some as a true freshman in 2022 and again this year for the Wolfpack.

Timmons had 14 receptions for 274 yards and a touchdown in nine career games. A ridiculous 19.5 yards per catch average with a long of 47 yards. He was a three-star recruit out of Northern Guilford and was undoubtedly underrated. A speedy wideout with blazing 4.4 second time in the 40-yard dash. He'll be a weapon for Shedeur Sanders and the Buffs offense.

We'll see how Timmons is used in Pat Shurmur's offensive attack. With Xavier Weaver and Michael Harrison leaving the program, Sanders will rely on the Timmons' playmaking ability. Shurmur love to utilize designed plays in the flat with an emphasis on yards after catch.

Timmons comes to Boulder with three years of eligibility remaining.
